                                   "Enchanted Woods Folk Art".....
We specialize in a light able series of collectible buildings and
birdhouses, suitable for display as a country accent anywhere in
               the home.
All of our products are handcrafted in a traditional manner by a
              daughter and mother team.
We feature stone and mortar chimneys and foundations, along
             with hand-made siding and shingles.
The windows in our buildings are open with curtains and screens,
and accommodate a small clip light for a homey glow.
Our primitive line of birdhouses have a rustic appeal,
that just represents country at it's best.
We also offer a whimsical line of decorations, seasonal items,
primitive angels and one of a kind folk art.
Our goal is to make our products appear old or primitive. We have
our own saw mill and primarily use native pine or hemlock--which
can have the tendency to crack or split--but this is how we achieve
our goal of time-worn and loved.

Under the tree

There is a tradition in households of German extraction,
of placing beneath the Christmas tree, a wooden scene,
called a PUTZ. Usually a PUTZ had a focal point, a nativity
with an assortment of animals and figures. To create a total
scene of a village or setting, numerous other items were
required, such as houses, churches and fences to keep
everything where it belonged. From the early 1900's, PUTZ
scenes often appeared on the mantels of fireplaces, on tables,
in china closets, or even in the corner of rooms. Please enjoy
and start your own tradition with our "Enchanted Woods Folk Art"
          buildings and accessories.
